Honourable Riffat Hasan, Consul General of Pakistan in Montreal
On Thursday April 2 2009, the Institute of Islamic Studies hosted the Honourable Riffat Hasan who presented a talk on “Current Developments in Pakistan: Some Reflections”, which was followed by a luncheon in her honour. On this occasion, Mrs. Riffat Hasan presented the “Government of Pakistan Prize” for 2008-2009 to Mr. Jeffrey Sachs, Graduate student at the Institute of Islamic Studies. Congratulations to Jeff!
